Le Buxus is a self-catering cottage on the Les Thérondels farm in Saint-Pons-de-Thomières. This gîte, near Olargues, is located in the old building that represents this three-hundred-year-old farm. With a capacity of up to 5 people, it’s the ideal gîte for a stay with friends or family. Le Buxus has a terrace overlooking the forest behind the house, and is shaded most of the day. The swimming pool is also nearby (on the other side of the building), as is the terrace for the table d’hôtes held during the summer season (July/August). Because this gîte rural near Minerve is at the back of the building, it is in a more peaceful location for those who prefer peace and quiet.

Le Buxus gîte sleeps 5 near Labastide-Rouairoux and comprises two floors. On the ground floor you’ll find the kitchen, a dining table, a sitting area with TV and plenty of storage space. The second floor has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with toilet and bath/shower. The large bedroom has a double bed, storage and a window with views over the valley and forest. The small bedroom (designed for children) has a bunk bed, a pegboard table and a window overlooking the forest. On the ground floor there is an occasional chair that can be folded up to sleep up to 5 people.

The furnishings in this rural gîte are adapted to an old farmhouse style, so you won’t find very modern furnishings. The kitchen is not equipped with a microwave, for example, or a Nespresso© coffee machine. However, WIFI is available, as is a TV with a limited selection of channels. This gîte is heated by an electric stove.
