La Ferme Les Thérondels, just 7 km from Saint-Pons-de-Thomières, welcomes you to a preserved setting in the heart of the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park. Gîtes, mobile homes or camping on the farm: everything has been designed to ensure you enjoy your holiday to the full.
So, surrounded by nature and comfort, you are invited to discover our animals, enjoy homemade meals on the terrace and soak up the authentic atmosphere from the moment you arrive.
Swimming pool on site
Whether you are staying in a gîte, mobile home or on the farm campsite, you have free access to our unheated swimming pool, open from 10am to 7pm. It measures 8 m x 12 m and its depth varies from 0.40 m to 1.50 m. Perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking or exploring.
What’s more, thanks to our ideal location near Minerve, Olargues and La Salvetat-sur-Agout, you have easy access to natural swimming spots: lakes, rivers, gorges… and even the Mediterranean Sea, about an hour’s drive away.
Table d’hôtes: local produce on your plate
To prolong your Haut-Languedoc experience, enjoy our table d’hôte meals, available upon reservation. The dishes are prepared mainly with farm produce or ingredients sourced from local producers. The menu costs €17.50 per person (excluding drinks).
In summer, you can book up until 12 noon on the day itself. Outside the season, please contact us (for a minimum 4 people). Whether you are staying in a gîte, mobile home or on the farm campsite, you can enjoy simple, generous and authentic cuisine.
Summer barbecues
During the high season, we also organise summer barbecues. These are convivial occasions, perfect for getting together and enjoying farm produce. On the menu: beef from our farm, grilled on site and accompanied by local flavours.
The price is €25 per person. In addition, to ensure that everyone can enjoy the meal, we offer vegetarian and vegan alternatives on request.

Passapaïs - Green route
The Passapaïs, a former railway line between Mazamet and Bédarieux, has been transformed into a safe greenway for cyclists, walkers, joggers and horse riders. It crosses mountains, valleys, forests and vineyards — a varied landscape to be explored on foot, by bike or on horseback.
Ferme Les Thérondels is located almost halfway between Mazamet (36 km) and Bédarieux (37 km). It is therefore an ideal stopover if you wish to divide the journey into several stages.
Please note: to reach the farm, you must take the D907, with a 200 m elevation gain over 7 km from Saint-Pons-de-Thomières.
Visiting the farm
Make the most of your stay by visiting the farm and meeting our animals: Dexter cows, horses, chickens, pigeons, pigs, dogs and cats. Visits are not scheduled in advance. However, the Kuitert family will be delighted to welcome you for a spontaneous and friendly guided tour.
Since 2022, we have also been participating in the De Ferme en Ferme event, held every last weekend in April. During this event, more than 600 French farms open their doors, and we are delighted to welcome the public.
